Our founder, Rita Perez, traveled to Paraguay each year to see family and friends. On these visits, Rita would stop by a tiny village, Yataity del Guairá, where the local women made incredible dresses with exquisite, handmade lace. After years of visiting this village and witnessing the exceptional talent of these women, she knew it was time for the rest of the world to see it too. Rita created Saraki to showcase the talents of Paraguay to the world and celebrate her love of travel.
